Conveyancing
Ok chaps,We've had a firm offer on our house and would like to put an offer on another property.
For the sale of our house,no estate agent was involved.
For the purchase of the new house,EA involved.
Sale house in West Mids
Purchase house in Derbyshire.
Want to have the sale and purchase of the new house done by one conveyancer..
Any recomendations??
BTW,its 1st time we have done this so all help and suggestions appreciated..
Heard about something called e conveyancer, but cant seem to make end or tale of it a google search!!

because 'its 1st time we have done this' I woud avoid 'something called e conveyancer'!
Ask someone you know locally who's moved, probably not much point having someone miles...
Also try and use a solicitor rather than a conveyancer, I think the law is tighter and (in theory) you'll not get mucked about by a real solicitor.... (from what I've heard in the past)

Nice one Rich...So is a conveyancer not a solicitor with another bow to his string ,so to speak??
Just want someone trustworty who aint gonna rip us off,but with this lot its like swimmin with sharks, especially when you aint sure what your doin!!
Just got a few online quotes, seem to swing from £500 to £1500 for exactly the same thing..Weird!!!

I am not 100% sure about this but I think its easier to be a conveyancer than a sollcitor. I think it has something to do with you have better come back if you need to sue a solicitor...
