Smashing windows with spark plugs
Not that its something i want to do, another thread just jogged my memory.
How do you do it, surely its just like anything else heavy, you could lob.
Or are there certain window smashing properties that a spark plug has

A small chip of ceramic will break a toughened window if you throw it with sufficient force. A scrubber found with pieces of broken sparkplug ceramic can be charged with 'going equipped' I believe.....

When I was a kid I too heard that spark plugs could smash car windows with aplomb.
We were more into kidnappings and sweet shop heists though so never tried it.

Small peices of white ceramic from a broken spark plug do indeed fairly easily break a window. Tried this about 10 years ago on an old car my dad had and I was surprised how easy it is. You do have to throw them pretty hard but it is impressive that something so small and light can shatter a window so easily.

The correct way to do it, if youre interested, is o shoot a small piece of ceramic at the drop-glass using an elastic band. It'll shatter but the point is that it shatters without making very much noise. Most of the noise comes from strinking the glass when its broken conventionally.

Get a hammer and a spark plug (used or new..doesnt matter) smash off the white (ceramic) part go to the scrappy and when no ones looking throw a bit (as if you flicking a cig) at a side or back window of a car...see what happens.
