Granny fined for crossing the road too slowly
Heard on Ken Bruce's show today (think it was that one) about an elderly lady fined for crossing a pelican crossing too slowly, something like an £85 fine?
If it is true, and if as reported that the policeman reported her, why was he not out helping her across the road rather than watch her struggle across? I didn't even know it was possible to fine people for such a thing.
TBH, thought this must be a 1st April story but as it was on today guess not. Anyone else hear about this?
