Normally hate US so called comedy, but My name is Earl is fantastic.
Best so far..........."I stole a car from a one legged woman".
I'm still looking for two ribs I lost when she opened the door hopping.

Jason and Ethan are just perfect in the roles of Earl and Randy (Did you just go old school on me? ). I'm a big Kevin Smith fan, so know that Jason is a rather good actor, and sure enough Earl is a winner.
The Bounty Hunter episode with Juliette Lewis is very funny.
Twisted and funny. As said by others, it's one of the only US so-called comedy shows I'll watch.
DVD boxset will be purchased as soon as it's out. There's meant to be a rather nice little dvd only ep where instead of seeing carson daily, who gives Earl the idea about Karma, he see's Stewie Griffin from Family Guy, it shows how different things would have been

Steve,
Yup, Jason plays Brodie Bruce in Mallrats, Banky Edawrds in Chasing Amy, Azrael in Dogma and Brodie/Banking in Jay and Silent Bob Strikes back, and Lance in Clerks II.
Assume you have seen the internet trailer on clerks2.com? Have to say it does look mighty fine. There's a great clip on the trainwreck part of the site with Kev, Jay and Jason, with Jason "channeling" Earl as he recites lines from Clerks II. Very funny.
He was also very good as the voice of Buddy/Syndrome in The Incredibles.
"...or are you going to go Bandit, Reynolds style?"

Nope, Willam Black is played by Scott Mosier, who has produced most if not all of the Viewaskew films.

Anyone know where to get a sound sample (mp3 file?) of the "hey earl" & "hey crabman"
bits?
oh, and while we're at it I could do with the "phlerghhh" noice from the end of the Guinness "evolution" ad

The Latino cleaning lady / sidekick is gorgeous too.
It's a great series. I think all the current must see shows are American.. 24, Lost, Sopranos, Family Guy. Doesn't say much for our telly!

I'm doing that with The Sopranos too.. Seen them all on TV but upscaled on DVD they are terrific. I'm also watching series 6 via the wonders of the web but I won't spoil it for you if you've not seen it yet.
