The mother-in-law has a P reg GTV and it needs new tyres. I think they are Goodyears at the moment, 205/50 R16s.
She wants a tyre that will last quite a while, and so i imagine a harder compound. She is not interested in sticky Yokos, S03s or Eagle F1s as grip isnt the major important factor here, and she wants to pay 85-100 quid per tyre.
Anyone got any recommendations ????

Falken - something or other. Lasted 20k on my FTO. Were real sh*te in the wet though, come to think of it they weren't exactly great in the dry.
About £60 a corner.
Had SO2PP's on my Nissan 200sx. Lasted about 12,000 miles. grip was much better though.
