Area 51 (Groom Lake) is 37.24, -115.81

Fort Knox is 37.88317700, -85.96484200 (very low res)

Go to http://bbs.keyhole.com the placemarks you see when you turn on the Google Earth Community layer all come from there. If you want to find something chances are someone has posted on the forum and marked it, if you find something interesting that's unmarked add it on the BBS and get credit.

Google Earth is excellent, but try the following link on Multimap, which I discoverd recently

Hopefully as you move your mouse over the aerial photo, it shows the map as a shadow over laid on it. If the link doesn't work, find somewhere on the map and then select Aerial Photo to get this.
