R/C B52 CRASH

Heartbreaking sight though. Reminds me of the odd R/c crash I have had too, sometimes helped on by illegal Cb-ers as a deliberate act.
It is true that the "Buf" takes off in an apparent nose down attitude, looks a bit peculiar at first, almost as though it is going up like a lift. I had a chat with a Buf captain once and he was telling me that at low level the aircraft oscillated from side to side and he said it tended to " take the skin off your ***"

I agree Simon, it did look windy for flying such a big model - not that I have any knowledge of wat is considered to windy for RC planes.
The guy's who built it must have been gutted to say the least! Personally, if it were my plane I would have chosen a calmer day, but as already said I know squat all about RC planes.
