If you're passing PERRYS Motor Village, Preston on the BlackPool Road ... Post Code PR2 6BX.
They have a MX5 Montana in, about £10,000, 52 Reg., 23500miles. Reg. No. PK52 XCS
Of course they say its mint .... I doubt it is ... BUT, I don't know
It's too far to travel so I would have to pay a deposit over the phone and they would transport it to me. Then, if its a pile of crap, I will reject it and send it back ...... but, I'll have a fight over the deposit.
If, by any chance, anyone here is close I would be most grateful for someone to have a look around it and peek inside to see if there are any scratches/dents/rips?
Even take some piccies of any bad bits?
Cheers
Pete

Crap and Bollox ................ it was on the AutoTrader website this evening and then, at midnight, it disappeared
It's also been pulled from other adverts too
Someone has bought it
Thats the third one I have chased that has sold within hours
Pissed off ...... I assume its sold?
Its a funny market for these, there has been 2 advertised at £2000 overpriced - I looked at one, and its a nice car ..... but its been for sale for months!! Then the correct price brings a buyer immediately?

The cars in question which are priced at £12000+ are NOT selling after months and months.
The same cars, priced at £10,000 sell within hours ........
That clearly says something - that the price to get 1 buyer is probably near to £11,000 ..... at £10,000 they can sell loads and at £12000 they can't sell any!
It's great watching the market work .... and, yes, in 3 weeks time those £12,000 may well be sold?

It's whether the money sunk into a new one is better spent money than, say, putting it into Tesco shares?
Of course I have my old MX5 - I won't be selling that until I get another ... it took me ages and ages to find mine, I'm not about to lose that without a replacement
Not sure what the market is like in the Mark1 early cars - if it's anything like whats happening generally with MX5s then a minter will always be swamped with offers.

In a recent poll 76% enjoy my way of posting ..... 16% would rather I pissed off ..... 6% couldn't give a toss.
So, yes, 16% wouldn't pee on me if I was on fire ...... but 76% have no reason not to help if they can, do the 16% live in Preston???
And what the hell has my age got to do with anything??
