Last time I went out in Lancaster, it was a cracking night.
I have absolutely no idea where we went though (sorry! - told you it was a good night ). We just went round a few bars and ended up in a club.

lancaster is quite a good night out. full of students so theres plenty of night life must admit its been quite a while since ive been there. the studet club was called the sugarhouse, theres plenty of bars, from what i can remember there close together, must be about 7-8 years since the last time i went out there, though some friends have been more recently, but said it was still a good night out

From a born and bred Lancaster lad - trust me, for the size of the city (yes believe it or not it is a city) it is a cracking night out. Been a while since I have had a night out their but as already mentioned their is a huge student population which has resulted in a massive growth in pubs and clubs.
Don't be tempted to try Morecambe for a night out - the place has gone down hill in a big way! If your going in the scoob get up to Devils bridge at Kirby Lonsdale, nice drive out and Bike heaven when you reach the bridge - might not be that busy this time of year but a good drive out either way.
Very good Thai restaurant near to the train station, Verdes is a Good Italian on Church St, If you want decent steak / traditional food try the Blue Mountain in Morecambe on Marine Rd East.
Other than that a great location for exploring the surrounding countryside including the Lake district.
If you are into photography try Morecambe or heysham on the sea front for really good sunrises / sunsets. Williamson Park in Lancaster is very good also for views of the local area.

We were "well oiled" to say the least so we probably covered about two and a half times the actual distance between the bars anyway.
Students... ah yes, now you mention it, I do seem to remember getting to grips with an attractive and particularly well stacked young blonde at some point in the evening

Lancaster is a good night out. Not far to walk between pubs and bars whatsoever! I couldnt single out a single venue as being brilliant to goto though. Revolution does it for me these days, although it is nothing special
