what because it isnt a 2000 gxl?

What a great programme though, gets better each week and its the last in the series next week. No PG I didnt but Im curious now, the other week in the pub they were playing pool with red and yellow *****, im 99% sure back in those days all pool ***** were spots and stripes but I *may* be wrong.

Assuming he is in a coma then everything we see is through his thoughts and memories, maybe he has a dilemma of his next car choice?
Should I go for the Clio or Focus mmm…?

Another funny episode last night, the guvnor is so funny - "isnt that a double negative, or did they not teach you anything at nutter school"

The modern bits that you see in the background, such as the UPVC windows last night - they are so blatent I wonder if they have increased steadily from the start to indicate he is starting to return?

According to the Beeb..

the series is so popular a second series is planned, but

the last episode will be a cliff hanger,,,,,

so will it be a return to 73 or 06, or a flit between the two??

It is a great series, but what's happened to the music in it? Sam needs to pull his finger out and find who nicked the soundtrack

Yes I remember reading its not a 'pukka' GXL even to the point of the headlights have been changed and its a 1600 not a 2000 AFAIK, why they couldnt get hold of one its not *that* rare a car.

Was wondering if he will stay in 73 for the next series or move forward to 80s or something? Would be interesting.

On the subject of sadness, I do the same when watching HeartBeat on a Sunday night.....I cant believe Ive admitted to watch that...

The Barman's voice is meant to be like that you numpties. Was explained in first episode as he feels the Jamaican accent is better for image. Also his normal voice is used when he helps Sam do the right thing.

In many cases you can - there are a few car places that specifically have people on their books for this very reason, but you have to be willing to let other people drive your pride and joy. My father has had a number of classic cars - the last was a 1948 Jaguar MK IV and this was used in a number of TV series. Because of its age, they let him drive it, so he'd get dressed up in a chauffeur's uniform for the TV show... was quite fun. You don;t do it to make money, you do it for the fun of being there. And you need to be flexible with timing etc as you may have to wait 2-3 days to record a 1 min part, so if you have a job it's hard.

Back to LOM, wish they would release a soundtrack but they say they have no plans to...

Did anyone else cringe and worry about the car when they slid over the Capri bonnet the other night!
