Urgent Help needed
Was taking my parents to the airport this morning, goround to their house and my dad has started his Kia Sedona to let the windows defrost, for some reason when I went to get in all the doorshad locked, keys still in the ignition and engine running.
Car has been like this for last hour now, have phoned KIA who were no help, said phone the rac or aa but will cost £150.
I have tried the coat hanger etc but got nowhere.
Anyone any ideas before I brick the window?
TIA

Yes that would be the simple solution, however my father has a tendency to put things like that in a "safe place" only he knows.......then bloody forgets where that is!!
My mate is a mechanic at a local kia garage but He is away for the weekend and not answering his phone!!
All i wanted was a quite sunday lol!

next post...
he,s got a blow in his zorst !!!
Just a quick one, have you tried going in from any other doors..
most people always try the drivers door, have a look for the rear doors, access can sometimes be better there..
failing that, daft question... is the boot open??

Yes, has now been sorted in a mysterious way. My dad knows the owner of the local Kia garage and i managed to get hold of him on the phone...he told me not to bother trying to bung the exhaust (i did try but to no effect..prob cos diesel?) he said it wouldnt do any harm to let it run. It would have cost a fortune to get any of his guys out on a sunday so he said just to leave it.
Phoned him back again and asked if there was any "magic way" to gain access without damage, no he said just leave it and I may pop up and have a look at it later. I didnt want to put him out so said not to bother if he was busy.
So i left it on the driveway idling away and blocked it in with one of the other cars.
Couple of hours later my brother phoned me to ask how i managed to get in...I replied erm I never! when he had got in the car not running, doors were locked and keys were through the front door! So who sorted it????
My guess is the Kia man...but how?
