If its got to that stage from both parties, then there will have been discussions, you can bet your bottom dollar.
Afaik the us allows encryption, but only at a set level, they can easily defeat it if needs be..
Unfortunatly our power crazed idiots, want absolutle contol, they hate the fact that people can do things they dont know about.
