No Right/Left Turn - Failure To Comply + Length Of Time To Issue A Fine
Since when has it been the case that if you fail to comply with a direction sign as in No Right/Left Turn etc that it is not an offence that is endorsable - ie Fine + Penalty Points?
If it is the case, then is there a maximum length of time that a local authority can take to issue a camera seen PCN?
We have had two PCNs recently, one where the "offence" was in October 2005 and the other in August 2005. All well and dandy as the vehicles were clearly offending but the drivers are now no longer in our service. Normally they would have to pay and we keep a deposit off of them for a couple of months against this but this is too long and they are well away. As registered keepers, we are liable
PITA

6 months I think for non speeding related traffic offences and as registered keepers you are merely liable to name the driver. fuzz will go after them direct. feel free to paypal me 80% of the savings for advice rendered.

Can local authority issue points over there ..... over here you can run a traffic warden holding hands with a counciller down in the bus lane as long as the fuzz don't see you
I would try calling them, explaining the situation and see what they say. Technically you can only be fined by a court, but I'm sure hedgehog will be along to explain that bit
