Barlaycard - Greedy bar stewards!

Basically Barclaycard are going to give people who pay off their card balance in full each month less time to do so. They are admitting that they don't make as much money out of people who pay off their whole balance and are now giving them less time to do so compared to people who only pay a part of the balance off.
After hearing a lot about what goes on at Barclaycard HQ and about some of the people working there i didn't think they could get any worse but this latest move is well out of order!

I'm sure ANY office has people who love to hate their employer. Not unique to Barclaycard by any means.
Solution is simple. Change card provider until they all implement these rules. Once that happens, it's hardly a disaster. Most credit to businesses is offered on 28 day terms, so by getting 56 days, most consumers have been at an advantage anyway.
Even if it was changed to 28 days, you still get the benefits of purchase protection etc etc.

I can't believe this business is trying to make more money for their shareholders.
They should lose all their money, and make 1000's unemployed, yeah that will teach us, higher unemployment. In fact all business's should stop making a profit.

Both Halifax and Abbey have been doing the same for the last year or so - I got caught by both of them when my payment date suddenly came forward a week. Complained and got the late fees refunded (otherwise I was going to cancel the cards) - and I now look at the payment dates and queue up on-line payment as soon as I get the bill.

I did some research on the best card if like me you pay your balance off each month. Basically, get the BMI Platinum Mastercard.
2 BMI air miles for every pound and 20,000 when you spend £250 in the first 3 months of something.
And 20,000 gets you a free flight in Europe. Can't be bad.
