Texas chainsaw massacre on CH4 now

never seen this, horror isn't my thing but thought as such a classic is on might as well watch some of it. Didn't know it was based on a true story

thought it was a bit over-rated to be honest, it's an old film and obviously looks it.

still a few good/freaky moments in it though

Heard of it as the film, like I say never paid any attention to it before now! Know it was a popular horror film when I was a kid but thats about it so no didn't know of the real story!

the film is laughable, its more funny than a horror film, the scenes are so stupid its untrue!!

Didn't watch it, but is that the one where the victims get hung up on meat hooks? or am I thinking one of the lesser "next gen" series?

this is the one with the meat hook. not exactly based on a true story, leatherface is based on ed gein the necrophiliac serial killer of the 1950's which norman bates was also losely based on also. if you want gore watch part 2 with denis hopper or leatherface(part3) the next generation is supposed to be crap, even thougjh it has some up and coming stars of the time
