Thumbs up Munich

Went to see it on wed night. Superb stuff, Spielberg at his best, no soppy ending like his last few.

Very brutal, very moving, Does not show the Israelis in a good light at all, which surprised me with Spielberg as the director.

Certainly worth a look

A bit too long in places I thought but I learnt a lot about it.

I agree with the dutch bird - waste of talent

Simon.

Saw it Monday . Quite good although agree with the too long in places comment. The sex/ hostage shooting scene towards the end was a little cheap.

Liked it, read the book which was hard going at times, similar to the film in a bit slow in places. Recommended though and based on true events. Fighting fire with fire and all that............

Saw this last weekend and it was impressive.

A bit like a cold-war thriller in a way, but clever and entertaining with good acting all round.

The guy being shot side-to-side through the mouth was well done.... quite graphic!

As per all Spielberg films, the special effects (in this case mainly people being killed in various ways) were exceptional.

I was quite dissapointed with it to be honest.

There was a documentary on Munich a couple of weeks ago on the BBC and I must admit I preferred that. Having seen that and really enjoyed it I was hoping to love the film.

Having said that, I watched Kiss Kiss Bang Bang at the weekend, and thought that was one of the best films I've seen in ages, Val Kilner (along with the others) was superb!
