Hello from Munich
Just coming to the end of a winter break in Munich, thought I would say hello
Had an hours drive to the Alps on Fri its totaly stunning with all the snow down will post up some pic,s when I get back.
BTW hire car is a brand new Supercharged E class Merc and have spent some time hunting along the Autobahn

Me swanning around .... never
Just a little taste of some of the sites we visited
Prince Ludwic the 2nds little pad called Neuschwanstiein castle, not bad for a mad man
Munich Olympic stadium, nice little lunch in the revolving restaurant at the top, a hell of a view
Tried to get a cable car to the top of the highest mountain Zugspitze 3000m up weather was a white out at the top and we were advised against it
I was gutted
Also had quite a few of these, 4 was my lot in one session bloody strong stuff

I wish I could take the credit for the pic's but I cant, mine are not quite as good
Phil thats a stunning shot We were really looking forward to the cable car trip to the top but a storm had brewed up and it was a total white out at the top. The cable car operator advised that it would not be a nice experience in this weather so we took the advice but I will be going back again
It's a stunning part of the world, loved every minute of it, just driving along the alpine roads through the villages was amazing
We seem to struggle with an inch of the white stuff over here but for them its just part of everyday life through a large part of the year.
