Shell have announced today that they have made a profit in the last year of £13.12bn. Isn't it nice to see such a successful company in the UK these days.

No doubt people will be whingeing that the amount is obscene but they wont be thinking that nearly all of this money will somejow find its way back into the UK economy.

Shell were Dutch until the scandal of overestimating oil reserves when there was a management purge, and the 2 companies became one UK company (even though still called Royal Dutch Shell ())
