Following on from the discussion about the arctic monkeys where some acoustic performers were suggested. (Ben Lee and Pete Murray were new to me....very good)

anyway, for those that like this type of music, I have to reccommend a guy called Edwin McCain. I've just started listening through his albums after having one song transfixed in my head for years (I'll Be). He does an amazing cover of Dire Straits 'Romeo and Juliet', as well as some of the best written acoustic songs I've ever heard.
