Default Scoobynet font of all Knowledge, I need to identify a film

Calling all the scoobynet film buffs,

I,m trying to identify a film i have seen parts of twice back in the 80,s or possibly a bit later,

From what i recall its a spanish or italian film and it revolves around a telephone box,

a man gets trapped in the box, and there is a brief panic as people try to get him out, and then he gets picked up ad put on the back of a lorry,

the lorry then drives through the countryside, and arrives at a big warehouse, and in the warehouse its full of phone boxes with people inside, some have killed themselves other are just lloking like zombies inside.

and as far as i know the film ends there,

to this day i dont know what its called whether it ever got reshown or released on vid,

any one else out there recall this film or know anything about it

No probs. Spookily enough I have that link saved as one of my favourites. Like you, I watched it in the 80s. Put me right off using phone boxes!

No idea if its available on video or dvd. Good luck with your search.

dont know? this one is one of those films that is so simple its really scary,

as you say it put me off using the phone box for years

now that we no longer have red phone boxes, i think some of the impact may be lost
