Anti Gravity...
Found a web site not so long ago about some very small crafts (only approx 500grams) which were being used in experiments which basically levitated the craft using very high voltage which apparently produced a strong magnetic field...
Always been facinated with the possibility of cars flying about like in The Fifth Element etc... and realise how much the world would change if it happened..
anyone know more about it, i'm gonna look for the website now!

Seems experiments have been done sucessfully by 1 person but nobody else can replicate them - suggests that the experiment was flawed.

Are you sure???
I seem to recall a documentary on sky wings covering some nasa or similar stuff using plasma fields to make a flying saucer fly, (leslie may be able to shed light on it, as he,s been around the stuff) it took a high voltage arc, to hit a saucer shaped object, the resulting mag field caused the craft to burn the plasma field on the edge of the arc, and as such repulsed the craft, and caused it to spin, the craft would only run for 5-10 sec,s as it zapped the arc, but it was giving the scientists new ideas.

mmmm, yeah have known about the bullet trains etc... for years and years, but thought these 'lifters' might be slightly different as they seem to be able to levitate over any surface, rather than purose built magnetic tracks...
imagine if they cracked it, very little congestion, able to visit scotland etc.. in a couple of hours, would be mad!
wonder what would happen to Scoobs!

Also, the technology was being looked at under the project name of "greenglow" by BAE systems some time back.
Theres a good lifters Egroups (.com) with lots of info on it and people running their own experiments, if you want further info.
