Default 2007 Tax disc colour

Does anyone know the colour of the tax disc that will expire in the year 2007 as I have just recently got my car resprayed in blue and was thinking of getting it taxed for 6 months because of the blue colouring

Haven't a clue what colour they are going to be, will find out when we got to tax the car beginning of March. I think the one we have now is blue as I remember it matching the car

I can't believe the question, you don't seriously make sure the tax disc matches the colour, I bet the coppers wont see it that way when they stop you and say you have no tax and your reply is but mr plod the disc didn't match my car this time round, I doubt his response would be , never mind sir better luck in another 6 months time.
It is a funny question though.

Just do what I do and shove it at the top of the windscreen, behind the translucent blue bit, then every tax disc will be either blue or black.

(I actually do this because I like that extra bit of visibility in the bottom left corner, rather than actually wanting to change the colour, that's just an unfortunate side effect)

'07 tax discs are purple.

A 6 month disc costs significantly more than half the price of a 12 month disc, so I really wouldn't bother unless you enjoy paying extra tax. If you ever really need 6 months (or any other period), you're better off buying a 12 month disc and then sending it back for a refund just before the end of the last month you need.

You can change the colour with felt tip pen, perfectly legal as long as you don't colour over the water mark

Do you think they can respray your car the same colour as your new lipstick tel ? Like that dulux matching system on "TV" ?
