I saw that a year or two ago. Still isn't selling I see!!!
Love to be invited along to view the property then turn round to agent and say, "nah, bit poky, not my sort of thing, do you have anything bigger?"

of the houses on the portfolio
most where kensington or chelsea, and had very little in the way of land..
the one i liked was the one that backed onto the 14th fairway at wentworth
£15mill if i recall, but a bit too modern for me
Mart
(i,d like a castle or a very big old priory type house)

The swimming pools, bowling alley etc would be fun, though Wonder how much it would cost just to pay the bills and maintain the place - probably would finish off your euro-millions quite enough . . . .

To have this as a weekend retreat would simply requires a little corruption, a few back handers and being in the right place at the end of communist rule.......

My company was called in to do the mechanicals on the swimming pools (5 Number) and the spas. It's a very grand place, but it's all just a mess of ideas. I'd rather have a 5 million pound house the way I like it.
I was actually in the west wing indoor pool testing the jet stream when a 'potential' buyer was looking round. A russian/chinese/mongolian looking guy with some big *** **** bodyguards and a entourage of mercs and bentleys.

Around £250,000 a year to run the 5 boilers, mind you I think that does the swimming pools as well
Cheers

Estimated figure for services for a year was £1,000,000.
A couple of pictures from during construction....even some of the plant rooms are marble. The driveway is heated too.

Go past it very morning on the way to work. I've watched it being built over the last few years. Too grand and gawdy IMHO, although the gardens look nice. One of the Arab Sheiks has a property a couple of miles away, sapphires in the cold taps, rubys in the hot ones. Plumber mate who worked on the install told me that. First time I saw it from the road I was very impressed. Until I was told i was looking at the servants quarters, the main house was a little further back!
Much nicer properties that Updown just down the road, and much cheaper as well, if you can call £1,000,000 to £4,000,000 million cheap.

WTF - WHY? - who built it? and why are they selling it?
Someone been watching 'Beeny' (.)(.) on the telly and thought they could turn a coupla grand quick
Seems mental to build a house like that to sell......
