Default RC servos

I have a small radio controlled heli and one of the servos broke so I replaced it with a better on - The problem is the direction has swapped and my transmitter doesnt have reverse switches.

Would switching the wires on the potentiometer attached to the relevant stick switch direction - Is this correct or not? There are three wires on the control stick pot - Red, Black and white. Which ones would need swapping - Does anyone know?

Cheers for any help.
