What he is saying makes sense, but at this point no-one actually believes that the system (if it ever gets introduced) will be based on common sense.

The 'reasonable' and 'contrite' Tony, telling you what you want to hear (Don't forget he's a world class actor).

Anyway now that you've been convinced, I'm sure he can count on your unstinting support...

Did you seed the live report from a Swindon estate, conducted under a hail of stones and bottles thown by the local yoofs? These people need properly sorting out.

That's just down the road from me. Never go there at night, and certainly never during the day unless there's more than one of you. They do indeed need sorting out, however I'm not sure how (without shooting the lot of 'em). It's basically an estate full of Vicky Pollards.

Mind you, it's always been like that. In fact it was worse during the last tory government than it is now, but I don't think Tony has had anything to do with the very slight improvement...

Which bit of 'Anti social behaviour' and do we spend long hours investigating each one...?

And are you saying that harsh punishment will stop the crime....just like capital punishment stops all the crime in America

As one of the guests on Breakfast pointed out.....if lack of corporal punishment improves behaviour our schools should be full of immaculately behaved, respectful children.

What I always find funny is that corporal punishment is frowned upon (smack/cane etc) regarding children, but it is perfectly acceptable to tw@t them over the head with a police baton once they step out of line as adults.

To be honest, it makes me feel ill to watch him these days and I would rather not in fact.

He will of course be very good at telling us how he believes what we have been telling him and his rather queer friends for some years now when we the electorate have been totally ignored of course.

Seems to be little point in listening to all that bleeding heart heart "respect" rubbish when we know that in actual fact nothing significant will be done to sort the problems. Its all gimmicks and words!

All the evidence points towards them finding the general lowering of standards being of advantage to them retaining power in this country, until they have got us totally tied up with no recourse left any more anyway.

Unhappy

the trouble with His Tonyness is that all he can do is talk the talk. he has never, ever, been able to walk the walk.

to update shakespeare, all that glisters isn't gold: sometimes it's simply a fresh turd just catching the light ...

i'm with leslie on this: his shallowness makes me fizzikly kweezy.
