Question Music Bods....

Was in a club in liverpool at the weekend (on crutches due to acident and the women love it ) that was playing some of the coolest music I have heard in a while. Not really into my music so got no idea what it was, will try and describe and maybe someone can help.

At a guess it was house (slightly funky) music mixed with something like 1950's jazz or more recent american soul music.

Make any sense to anyone...astraboy maybe?

cheers

Maybe it is more than 100yards, from Magnet it is down towards the centre rather than hope street. Its got big central entrance with central glazed double door entrance.

*Think* there was a pizza place on the corner by it.

easiest way to approach it would be to find the name of the DJ from the club

I'm intruiged now...

when you say it was house mixed in with jazz and soul..as separate songs, or were there jazz/soul samples in the music?

LOL

I was pretty pished up and that so its even harder to explain especially as I don't really give a **** about clubby music.

I would say it was funky house music with soul/jazz mixed in. Pretty sure they were seperate songs but layed over the top as I heard a couple of old soul tracks that I remember from years ago.

It just makes for really uplifting music, sort that puts a smile on your face and everyone eles.
