Default Mobile Phone navigation

Anyone got mobile phone navigation software - I have just purchased a Nokia N70 and wonder if there are any kits available. I would also like speed camera locations to be available too. The phone has a RS MMC slot - I want to be able to have the software on a 1gb card and also use the remaining space for MP3's. Is this possible?

Cheers

Already got the phone - What do you think of the software?

How much would you sell the GPS device for? Which one is it?

Cheers

i've got tomtom on my 6680. Its very good indeed! I prefer it to my old PDA setup (apart from the screen size) and Its very stable. The only let down is that you cannot choose your own sound files for the points of interest warnings (i.e. speed cameras), so you have to use the predefined ones (beeps and bleeps). Although i have downloaded another set of sounds from www.pocketgps.co.uk so it now tells me the speed limit of the camera, but its not exactly how i would like it.

Can you get 1gb RS-MMC cards yet? I bought TomTom 5 on a 256mb RS-MMC card for my Nokia 6630 and the biggest card I could find at the time was 512mb.

just got a N70.
Was running a 6600 with 256mb card loaded with tom tom mobile 5. Excellent bit of kit still leaves over 128mb for games videos and mp3 files.

N70 tom tom is very unstable and keeps freezing, losing GPS signal.
excellent phone not quite as nice to hold /use as 6600 but better camera functios etc.
good points . adobe and office files great camera, and multiple bluetooth connection(excellent as you can use bluetooth headset and still use bluetooth )

bad points :
all files in Gallery so vid and images in same file and show ALL thumbnails when opened(not children friendly)
really annoying 3 stepping stone screensaver(comes up before your chosen screensaver)that i havent found how to remove yet!
on the whole top phone

edited to say 6600 with tom tom may be for sale .
if i can sort N70 tom tom out

I have an N70, running TomTom Mobile 5. No problems as yet, i only got the stuff yesterday. You need the software, a Bluetooth GPS device and a decent size card, i got a 512Mb. The TomTom software takes 108Mb i think.

Seems to work ok, but i'll give it a decent try out later on.

Am I the only one using Route 66?

I used it to cross europe and it was dead on accurate, never got lost once. All you need is a symbian phone with bluetooth(i used a nokia 6670) and a bluetooth GPS device (i used the Holux GpSlim236) and space to load the maps on. You can check traffic status by gprs and update your route.

If you want pm and I can send you a copy.

Ive been using an Orange SPV C500 with Tomtom 5 for over 6months and its been great.

The GPS receiver is a bluetooth one bought on ebay for about 55quid.

512mb card was also from ebay, but I would recommand a 1gig card for anyone who drives around Europe a lot as France alone is 250megs.

Speed camera locations can be downloaded from www.pocketgpsworld.co.uk - however I think they are about to start charging a couple of quid for downloads. If so check a file sharing program.
