Unhappy Clarkson Heaven & Hell - pile of dog sh1te!!

Thankfully I only paid £5.99 in the Woolies' sale.

Was really looking forward to it, but was falling asleep halfway through. Was just a load of him going sideways in cars (the good stuff)

Quality was rubbish too - poor camera shots (shaky!)

Not what I'd expect from a BBC production.

1st and last Clarkson DVD I will buy

Rubbish.

It's not a BBC production. It's a "On the Box production".

I thought it was very good, all the best cars DB9, Enzo, AMV8, M5, F430, etc, etc.

You just musn't be easily pleased. I've watched it a couple times now sinse Christmas day.

My mistake - was THAT bored I didn't take notice of who did it

BY the same token, you must be easily pleased!

How annoying is it that before Christmas these dvd's are £18.99, a few days later thay are in the bargain bucket. Thats robbery and the reason why my copy may not be strictly legit. Maybe.

Daz.

I watched it at a mates house. Cheap, legal and it was no better than an episode of Top Gear.

I was given a copy for Christmas. I did fall asleep the first time i saw it but have since sat down and watched it all the way through. It's the same as all the other ones he's done, which get shown endlessly some weekends on Sky.

It wasn't great but it was no worse than i was expecting.

The faces of the salesman when he went to that Perodua with a sledgehammer were funny. Disappointing nevertheless though.

Are you sure he was driving the cars which were going sideways, or was someone doing it for him as usual?

I was given a copy as a present, I was disapointed too....

Same old stuff as the previous videos. But with less sacasm and political incorrectness. Going on about the same issues over and over like a broken record.

Even the same tragically naff backing music

Seemed like a bunch of reject material deemed too bad to be used on Top gear Bit about the Perodua was funny, thats about it though.

If you haven't seen the older videos, you can usually catch them on Sky (UKTV) channels 566 and 591 (along with the old Top gear episodes)

Fair play to Clarkson - he must rake it in from his annual "rant a couple of cars about an airfield" video.

Has anyone seen this one? "Grand Tour - Europe 2005" - some guys in a TVR Sagaris ranting it across Europe to find the best roads! Not seen it, but tempted to get it.

It was pretty crap - f/fwd through much of it. As some have said, I've found episodes of Top Gear significantly more interesting and novel...

If I'd paid anything for it, rather than just wasting a blank DVD-R on it, I'd be even more upset....

Looked to me that he filmed it when he had the cars on Top Gear.
Thought it was crap, glad I didn't even waste a DVD-R on it!

There is only one person who's driving sends a tingle down my spine and that's my boy Tiff. Compared to him, Clarkson can't drive to save his life.

Clarkson is good value for his idiotic comments and outspoken opinion, but that's about it. It's just a shame Tiff can't be a bit more sarcasric and funny, however, when Tiff goes on about cars you know it is from knowledge and driving experience.........

Yes Little Miss WRX, when it comes to car control, it is difficult to beat Tiff. He is actually a very pleasant chap too, used to live a few houses down the road from me. I prefer him as he is, excellent personality.

Mike Cross, Jaguars suspension man used to drive on Clarksons videos. Whether he does now I'm not sure but he did.

Anybody into Hillclimbing and Sprinting will know how he drives.

Clarkson never confesses to be a good driver however, in fact quite the opposite.

He has improved over the years though, who wouldn't doing something day in day out?
