Cardboard. It saves money, animals and time yet still tastes the same.

I used ours a couple of times and missed the flavoursome loveliness that you get with other methods. I'm sure the GF is healthy, but then I can always knock up a salad

Chuck it away and buy a quality cast iron griddle or frying pan. Much, much better than a gimmicky GF grill.

Totally agree Chip. A griddle is the way to go. We bought a GF, tried it twice, got cardboard twice so sold it. Useless unless you like cardboard.

I have a hard time seeing the point of these things. If I'm cooking a decent steak the last thing I want is to kill its flavour by draining all the fat out. Chicken breasts are very low in fat anyway. And if I wanted to cut down on my fat intake I wouldn't eat burgers or sausages.

Does anyone rate them as more than a marketing gimmick?

Gary.
