DVD games on the tv.......are they as much fun as sitting round the table with a board game?
(or sprawled out on the floor more usually)

We've bought:

ntropy, The really nasty horse racing game, & munchkin (which is just great!)

We've also got: Game of Life, mid-life crisis, go for broke & a few others... but all the above I'd recommend

Would recommend The Really Nasty Horse Racing game - although it can go on for a while, but is a good laugh.

Bullseye - the board game.

"Stay out of the black and in the red, you get nothing in this game for two in a bed" Classic bully!

BTW - You win a speed boat and live in Birmingham.

Oh Yes.

However Some young kids don't get the Idea that sometimes your horse has to lose so you can win the big bets - usually ends in tears when you put them out of a race but tell them you did it so they could win £2 Million - "But you put my Horse out - I hate you "

A ladybird?

I'd recommend Kerplunk, Monopoly, Game of Life, and definitely Pictionary.
Triv is always good for a crack, as long as you havn't played a set of cards tooo much.
