oh f*vk killed me sub :(
Following on from my sub with hum i did some checking today..
dry joints , a few, and managed to reduce the hum great i thought...
then after about 10 mins, i noticed it was not subbing??
so i whipped it apart to check...
nothing obvious, hmm so i popped it back on for a check..
bang pop sparks.... eek the front panel board had fallen onto the psu transformer...
now nothing...
RIP Kenwood SW700 (home cinema sub)
now is it a fairly cheap repair, or am i looking at a spanky new one, which at the mo is about as possible as me getting all six in the lottery
