Default postcode search for tomtom download?

It seems as though pocket gps world has removed the postcode search ov2 files from its site. anyone have a location where you can download these from?

cheers

Try web.archive.org
If you find them, let me know as I think you can use ov2s with Destinator

Edit: web.archive.org no-longer has them, but I do if you PM me your email address and which version you want (ppc2002 or wm2003) and you're welcome to a copy.

Do you reckon you will be able to extract the database into a format I can use such as an ov2 file?

Ok - ive got the 'postcode search' for tt3 on my computer
I'll host it on Edonkey - if you do an Edonkey search for - ukpostcode - you should be able to find it

alan

i've named it - ukpostcode_all_ppc2004. (tomtom plugin).zip

slightly off topic, but Ive got TT5 on my mobile (running Windows 2003SE), but tomtom only recognises the 1st part of the postcode?

Ie T5 4NR - it only knows about the T5 4 bit - you have to enter the street then?

Don't know about 'mobile' (mines a PDA) - but - when u click on the screen, u get 'Main Menu 1 of 3', click "Navigate to..", on this page u need to click on the blue arrow to go to the next page, where u will find to "Postcode" logo - this gives the full postcode search. Hope that helps........?

If Navigator's the same on Mobile and PDA, then this sounds like the problem, and I had to do this on my ipaq.
