however if you read the third paragraph down it suggests that bob lasek owns the other set of the original pair made, and that he designed them, however the seller does not claim this on ebay, he does however claim to have owned them from new

That's about right TBH - used in studios (proper ones, not p1sspot bedroom studios)

Pretty cheap compared to some. AND not that accurate

Tannoy main monitors (IMHO) have never been brilliant - I prefer ATC, PMC or at a push Genelecs....... all pretty much the same price.

You then have to amp it all up - abot another £6K.......

*** all this audiophile ****e - studio stuff is MUCH better (do it properly in the first place!!

Ive allways had a soft spot for tannoys dual concentrics, hence the reason i bought a pair, wouldnt change them for the world, allways hankered after a pair of wesminster royales, although my wife would definantly not approve

I've got a pair of system 100s - like the principle behind dual-concentrics (all audio comes from the same point source), but just can't get to grips with the sound.....

Even tried using Crown macrotech amps - still not convinced.
