im enjoying my W800i sony walkman at the moment

you need a tri-band phone for the carribean, if you have that and can get a signal, you can use WAP to access the net.

not too sure about msn on a mobile or xda or pda tbh, the next person will

If the roaming network has gprs access then you will be able to send and receive mms and access the internet, otherwise it wont work.

if i take a uk mobile to another country, my network needs to have an agreement for their customers to be able to use a network in that country.
otherwise the phone will be useless, no doubt apples before you go abroad you call o2 and asked for this to be explained again.

fastest one i have used that does most email clients is the treo 600 650

its a one touch set up.

be carefull using xda,s and similar, most will only accpt pop3 clients for email, and if i recall msn is not pop3

they may have updated software and the like, so you need to check.

as for web on the move in the uk fine, abroad is dependant on what the roaming agreements with the other carriers are.

and finally charges... you want gprs not wap, if i recall, wap you pay for the time on line.. think about this average mobile speed (non 3G) is approx 28-33kbs!!

gprs, you only pay for the data you download,

get a data bundle, approx £4 for a meg

Apples if you work out how to view SN on it let me know as i get error messages

but i do use it to send and receive e-mails on my Freeserve account using the e-mail package on the phone.

The wap portal for Freeserve has closed so how you would use the internet to access e-mails i dont know, you use to just surf on to the page and access it as if on a PC but this doesnt work on Freeserve any more or i am now doing some thing wrong.

P910i good phone but delicate. had one (well on second one) for just under a year and very pleased with it, enjoy

treo 600-650 uses the blazer web browser, makes sn viewing easy peasy
