heard a few bad things about there flights being cramped etc, any views?
unfortunatly no control over choice as its the chartered flight for our cruise holiday,
also if i remember rightly you have to purchase headphones on the plane to listen to films etc? or do not all flights have films??
its flying gatwiick to barbados so presume long haul flight 10 hrs?

Try to avoid the 4 seats in the middle of the aircraft, the leg room was very poor, and yes you do have to purchase headphones too, we were on a flight to/from Kos in October, bloody worst flight I'd ever been on.

you pay nfor just about everything!!!
the headphones are a new 2 prong design, so if you use your own, you only get mono,
they cost roughly £2 a pair..
and if you dont get to complete the film before you land tough..
the food was possibly the worst i have had on a flight, edible but bland.
get an aisle seat in the window sections more room

I remember when it only used to take Four hours to fly to Barbados
Anway,You'll be flying on an Airbus A330 ( Pic ) ( Info ) which is a nice large aircraft Seat back TVs and plenty to watch. 35 inch pitch on the seats which isn't that bad for economy. Do they not offer extra legroom upgrades? A lot of charter co's do now. If not try to get seats by emergency exit doors for extra room. You should be able to book your seats on their website. Can you get some valium to neck when you get on so you can knock yourself out for the duration? A lot of aeroplanes have funny/odd connectors for the headphones so you have to buy the airlines own. Try to get up and wander around to stretch your legs if you do decide to stay awake.

35 inch pitch in economy would mean the best in the entire industry. More like 31 inch for charters. (Premium economy usually starts at 36 inch)
