Aahh the 1992 remix! gets better the louder you play it..... try 1969 too you'll love that one.

Shouldn't you be preparing cv's or something?

Cv,s were done and sent last friday, and again on monday and tuesday,

ive had a couple of calls with some potential offerings, a couple are ok ish, providing the package can be negotiated. one was an absolute p*ss take. 6 days a week for 5 days salary i think not!!

is that a track called 1969 or the 1969 remix of temple??

Yes!!! Thats the one I'm almost sure!!! Starts with just a picked guitar with loads of swirly phase on it, then with a single 'splat' of a snare drum it all kicks in.

Sound right??

The album is an all-time classic too. No home should be without one.

"Love". But "Sonic Temple" and "Ceremony" are well worth a listen too.

Nice one. The rerason for my interest is that somebody has crafted an extraordinary remix/mashup style tune based on She Sells Sanctuary. Have you come across it at all?

Im considering putting those 12" covers in release order, by chance theyre in preferential order. 'Alice' then 'Body and Soul' (with a re-recording of 'Body Electric'); 'Body Electric'; 'The Reptile House EP' and finally, 'Temple of Love' Its like 1983 all over again.....

Ah yes, Andrew Eldritch. Possibly the maddest bloke on the face of the planet, but apart from that, excellent value.

Saw them at Tiffanys in 1985. Well, I say I saw them, but a more accurate statement would be to say that I saw a shedload of dry ice and, er, well, that was about it.

Great gig, though in retrospect that oh-so-ironic Wham! T-shirt would have been better left at home, and the ginger-gyed heair was a very definite fopar.

Yep, when Ian Astbury was in full-on rock god mode, probably 1990, though I'm not entirely sure where - Wolverhampton, I think.

They'd got a bit too Led Zep then, if I'm honest, but still exceptionally good. They're still gigging now, I understand, though heaven knows, they've not released anything worth listening to in a very long time.

Dozens of times, I even saw the red hot chilli peppers supporting them at Hammersmith Odeon. That was just as "Electric" came out and they played 5 nights on the trot, full on heavy metal spectacle, the kind of stuff the Darkness are now doing.

Also saw them at Brixton Academy with Zodiac Mindwarp and the love reaction - superb.
