Best Birthday present ever !!!!!

It appears just to be an owl, made from crap found in the garden, significant use of a glue gun was used in its construction. My wifes aunite got it me, I dont want to sound ungrateful as its nice for people to remember your birthday.
Anyway, I popped it open and it was full of Cocaine, how did she know !
Well actually it wasnt. Actually it worries me a little that she thinks that its my kind of thing, I thought I gave out vibes of cool techy type stuff, cars and stuff with many buttons, perhaps not ?
She did say to my wife that she wasnt sure if I would like it, well guess what I love it, its so bad its good, have had much comedy value from it tonight. What really make me laugh is that its my brother in laws birthday as well and she has got him one as well !
I have christened him 'Hooty Bob' and I will cherish him always.
Hmm, have just realised why she may have thought it my thing, when we have been skiing she has been with us, one day with a very bad hangover I went to the street market and they had these sort of mini Beavers with real fur on, they were actually Marmots but lets not let a minor species issue get in the way of a hillarious (well it seemed funny at the time) gag as I was going to put it on my desk at work so I could have people say 'nice Beaver' (being male I dont know why I thought this appropriate)
They were quite realistic, I thought it was amusing to put one near the bin under my desk at work, with a bit of cotton tied round it, wait for the cleaner to empty the bin and tug the cotton, suffice to say she wasnt amused when she was inspecting it and it scuttled off. I didnt know she had heart trouble.
I have bought one every time since, sort of tradition, so I suspect this is why she thinks I have a love of hand crafted mammals ?
Oh and she left the price on, major gift faux-pas in my book, theres me thinking it was about a grands worth, actually only 5.99.

Asked 13 year old daughter, would she rather watch "The Grudge", alone, in the dark, under the duvet covers, or be shut alone in a brightly-lit room with 'Hooty Bob"?
With no hesitation, picked "The Grudge", which after all is only makebelieve, whereas "Hooty Bob" is horribly, horribly real!

BrettC, J4CKO has given the possible reasons behind his erm present, whats yours?

SA. Yep, curiosity got the better of me and I had to find out how much?
Swen6. Im afraid to say...not a clue!
I probably shouldnt admit this, but, I love it! After all who wouldn't want a multi-coloured fibre optic mildly buzzing plastic cactus??

And it prooves to me that on SN, any old bit of tat is enough to warrant a fairly long thread, anything remotely thought provoking sinks without trace, I mean how else do you explain 20 pages devoted solely to the relative merits of the Honda S2000 compared and contrasted with the P1.
