Govt actually doing something good for a change

Mind you, at the moment it's just talk so probably a load of talk then nothing due to it being 'unworkable' but I'll 'try' and keep an open mind but you all know what this govt is like.

About 10 years too late Im afraid, regulation was need a long time ago, those who are in the Personal Injuries referral game will still bypass most requirements by simply having qualified solicitors 'on the books'....

It seems to be the current government policy; ban, restrict and legislate.
I would have thought it may be better to streamline the law, cut out the crap and give better guidelines to sentencing and awards around what's left. But what do I know?

We are all expected to live within the laws of the land. If this is the case, surely those laws should be few and simple enough that all the citizens should know and understand them? I'd like it compressed to something about the size of the Highway code and issued to all persons at birth.

If the truth was known, I reckon that a Government focus group has picked on the effect that the modern compensation culture of greed is having on the normal activities that children have enjoyed at school for so many years.
This will have been passed on to the Government who are in a blue funk at the moment at the effects of the resignation of the minister on the authority of Billy boy. Especially with the latest rounds of parliamentary voting on the terrorist bills.
They will therefore attempt to find all kinds of diversions to take attention away from Billy's present predicaments. Such a shame about that!
