Best stuff for cleaning an oven

I find elbow grease works well
Normal soapy water does the trick for everything anyways instead of all these fancy sprays that cost money. Use soapy water and one of those green scrubber things.

Mr Muscle oven cleaner - it's like a foam which you spray on and leaver for 30 mins or so, then wipe off.
It's great stuff but be warned, wear rubber gloves as it burns your hands. And put newspaper on the kitchen floor as it drips.
Good luck (fecking hate cleaning the oven )

I've used a company called Ovenshine a couple of times. They actually take the thing to bits and clean it outside, they bring their own soaking tanks and everything, can't find them in google but got these:

Best 20 odd quid spent and much easier than me doing it.

Mr Muscle for my oven - works a treat!
And for those times when you've burnt stuff to the bottom of a saucepan and it's set like nasty black concrete - just half fill the pan with water, add some washing powder and boil for 1/2 hour or so. Whole lot comes off without any scrubbing! (Mind you don't let the pan boil dry though......)
