I started off hating him, but the more I've got to see of him (Tv-wise!), I really warm to him - VERY professionally-minded, albeit somewhat tactless and lacking in people skills.
However, he does give praise where it's due - it's very balck and white with him. Either it's up to his standard or not. You certainly know when it's not!!
You cna see the same sort of attitude with Jamie Oliver, albeit on a less formal scale. Has to be said, in the studio, I'm pretty brutal with my assistants. When your a$$/reputation is on the line, you have to get your team up to scratch!!!
Respect to the man

I think he's ok as above, at least you know where you stand with him
One so called Chef I can't stand is that Keith Floyd, ignorant, self centered ,big head, eats like a pig with his mouth open and talks
Ok ok I'll calm down

Shame he feels the need to swear so much. He is a smart man and commands respect without resorting to punctuating most sentances with **** or fecking.
I like him!

I must admit I love watching the guy. I just like his honesty. The F-word wasnt the best of his shows but still entertaining. Not sure I believe how the average doner kebab is made
Kitchen Nightmares is the best. Some of the crappy establishments were clueless. That guy that fed Ramsay gone off scallops lol.
Simon.

I like the guy too -- brutal honesty and the quest for perfection. The Hell's Kitchen US version has been very entertaining. He loves to stick it to the yanks

I think the guy is great and extremely entertaining. He's quick to criticise, but just as quick to praise.
He has the only restaurant in London with 3 michelin stars, so his ability to get the most out of his team is unquestioned.
