Default Evening out in London - ideas ?

Hi all

I am trying to arrange an Xmas night out for the team at work. Thought about a tour of Vinopolis, followed by meal and a few gallons of beer but Vinopolis is full on the dates we have.

Anyone got any more ideas of similar sorts of things to do in Central London ? Wanted to avoid jsut going out on the lash, and add something else in first before dinner.

Try Tower42 - champagne reception on the 42nd floor followed by a sit down meal by Gary Rhodes on the 24th. Always good as people can peer out of the windows and play the "oh I can see my house" game.

Also there are some good river cruises that offer proper, a'la carte sit down meals as well.

His cooking is a lot better than Jamie Olivers. I used to hang around in Montes on Sloane Street back when he was but a mere twinkle in daytime televisions eye. Poohyuck.

definately for .. been a couple of times.

I like top floor @ smiths ( overlooks smithfield market ) , though that's better in the summer when you can sit outside on the terrace.

If it's just something to do before dinner, then how about hiring a private capsule on the London Eye, complete with champagne?

I can also vouch for Vertigo 42 and Rhodes 24...been before and was impressed and I've booked both venues again for a small bash in December with some people from my dept.

Gary.

I would give her a stern talking to before administering entertainment. She would need to lie back and think very carefully about the awful faux pas he created!

Threadneedle Hotel / Bonds is the best in the City these days!
