I'll be going over to the US soon, what are the legal implications of me taking viagra over with me (only a few tablets). I don't medically need them, therefore.. I don't have a prescription for them.

I believe it's not illegal for me to possess them but just wondering what customs may think?

I'm not looking for "it's not worth it" etc....

Just want to know the legal facts if anyone has any idea.

As I understand it, other than the interesting side affect, the primary role of Viagra is that it's used as a Beta-blocker heart drug. So if you don't have a medical need for them, are you telling us you don't have a heart condition?

Small quantities of Viagra should not be a problem. Just put them in a bag in with your shaving gear and 99% chance they wont even look.

Reminded me of that old joke when Bush and Gore were slugging it out. The Japanese Gov't wanted to help out and sent 5 tonnes of Viagra "To help with elections" te-he.

It's a prescription only drug, BUT so are the codeine tablets that I went to America with a few days ago. I wasn't stopped anyway, and if I had been it is for personal use and not illegal (like Viagra).
