Why do people pick up their kids in these huge SUVs, when they only live up the road 
People in my area who only live say 7-8 houses from me, come down the road in their cars just to park it up and then end up walking the rest of the way to the school!! The worst thing is, most of the ******* park in front of MY house and usually end up blocking most of the road

They block the entrance to my drive and I can't feckin get my car in or out! Complained to the council and they turn round and say; well, don't use your car during the school run

Doesn't always mean it's true, though.
For all you lot know, the Hummer driver may have been on their way to Basra to round up insurgents after they'd dropped the kids off

As for it being okay for 4x4 drivers to go and pick-up their kids when they only live up the road. If they are law abiding citizens then I see no probs with it. Afterall if the kids had to walk past your house on their way home...well, you never know

my cousin in the good old US OF A says that in his state the yanks leave their cars running for 30 mins befors they use it to warm the inside up 11 no wonder they don't like high fuel prices , i think they should oay what we pay , that would teach them
