Camcorder purchase advice *PLEASE*

About to replace my superb Canon MV3i.

Any advice on a replacement most welcome.

Was thinking about a Sony 3MP at about £600 - £700 ish.

There was something in Stuff magazine about a new hard-disk JVC camcorder which was supposed to be pretty good. I'm in the market myself, although I'll be spending a bit less
