no - they've banned the crane technique so he wont stand a chance

Crane technique came from Chinese Kung-Fu origin. Karate is Japanese. Always criticised that when I saw Karate Kid!

I'd be more inclined to critisise the fact he put in about 5 hours of training washing cars and painting boards yet was awarded a black belt and developed mad skills out of nowhere
