Default M62 commute

Does anyone do Manchester -> Liverpool daily? Is it a nightmare? My friend has just got a job in liverpool but obviously doesn't want to live there.

I do Liverpool (almost) to Manchester daily, and tbh most days it is a PITA, traffic is bad most mornings both ways

on average it takes me approx 1 hour, or just over, to travel 22 miles, on the days I have been to Liverpool it has taken longer sometimes

Not the best journey to take everyday

Yeah, I used to live in Stoke on Trent, and travelled to Manchester every day, and it was double the distance but took the same length of time !

He has a wheelchair to deal with so I'm not sure how well the train option would work.

Thanks for replies

Ahh ignorance is bliss, so he wants to live in Manchester? the crime capital of the north, where car crime, shootings, burglaries etc are twice that of Liverpools, obviously I can see why he wants to live their.

You and your friend should stop reading the Daily Mail and stop watching GMTV.

why doesn't your friend consider the Wirral or around Runcorn way?

traffic is terrible once you come to the end of the M62 just before edge lane. I think they're planning to build a bypass near Wavetree in the near future.
