Couldn't they have made it a black lesbian muslim statue 
The local gym and swim near me have decided to have a wednesday morning swim lock-in for muslim ladies only. No lifeguards and locked doors and galleries. I wrote to the local paper and got published when highlighting this racist drivel. Imagine turning up on the doorstep of your gym and being told sorry no non-muslims

Oh I can assure its real. As anyone who read last nights Dundee Evening Telegraph will concur.
I'm going to have a white anglo saxon gym day on friday.
Oh and the muslims only have to pay entrance fee, they don't have to hire the pool. Even the local swimming team have to hire the place if they want it for themselves

Just seen this on the news... I find it sad to see so many enthused by it, its just another statue, but wait! Its making some kind of statement (although what is anyone's guess)... Oh hurrah... That means it should be in Trafalgar square for the next 18 months then!??!

The plinth was originally built for a grandiose equestrian statue, not some random naked disabled 'also-ran'.

It's a joke surely...is it? I hope so, as that is utterly disrespectful to everything the trafalgar square seems to represent. I seriously don't know who makes these decisions, but something has to be done about it...it's out of hand.

Shouldnt it have been a statue of that young black soldier that won the VC in Iraq reccently for rescuing all his buddies? I would have imagined that the plinth should have been used for ' highlighting' someone that has shown little regard for self preservation and more interest in helping friends and comrades in peril, now that is someone worthy of recognition.
Still, I suppose it could have been worse, it couldve been that Tit Beckham up there, or even that stupid Jade tart off big brother.
