Question Sky Plus Problem Tonight ?

Just went to pause live tv (ITV) and the pause symbol comes up at the bottom of the picture, but the TV program keeps running. You then press back up and the screen turns blue and you have to swich it off and then back on.

Anyone eles having problems ?

Yes, definitely a problem after the software has been updated. Happened to me on Sunday and I was rather pissed off at the problems it caused!

You could try a 'forced' software upgrade. You need to unplug the mains, then whilst holding the backup button in (don't release it) plug it back in the mains and wait approx 10 seconds before you should get a good few leds lit up (now release backup button) and a message on the screen if using scart cable telling you not to disconnect mains or satellite signal whilst it downloads the new software etc.

This should only really be done on a new install or as a last resort. This works on Pace receivers, not sure about others.

Andy.
