I thought it was an excellent film.

Didnt like it much to start with, but then is grew on me. Something to do with Sky repeating it every 3 days and me catching it.

Lol - yeah I came in part way through and saw this grungy looking guy with a tank outside some fort and thought it might be a Mad Max stlyee thing. Then he started waving his "dragon's tooth" about and suddenly Challenge Tommy Walsh had a certain appeal

Not a great plot line, but certainly watchable. Beat actually doing any work (was at work) hands down. That and I love dragons, hence my nickname Dragon. Not the first time I've seen it and won't be the last.

Its OK IMHO, plot is ropey at best but I'll watch anything! Probably blew the budget on the sets becuase they seemed pretty big for a B movie.

Seen it before but watched it anyway. Not a bad film, it's not an Oscars candidate but still better than whatever reality TV ****e was on the other channels.

Not Christian Bales finest effort but well worth watching, the dragons were cool (or hot).

And the Mean Machine was a rip-off of the original The Longest Yard (starring Burt Reynolds).

Expected more from Reign of Fire. I suppose the last 20 minutes of action was ok. probably a lot better on the big screen. It did seem like another situation where the yanks turn up with all the gear and ferk things up...I just couldn`t work out where they were getting the fuel from to run the chopper and tanks?

it them went very post oppocolyptic.. and grungey....

yet them manage to evade these dragons who have wiped out most of the indigeous population??

and the classic stab to the heart to kill it.....

ahoy me hartys thar she blows....

could have done a lot better 5- 10

Gotta agree with that. Waste of time. Just not funny at all.

I was pleasantly suprised by Paycheck the other night (Ben Affleck). Me and the mrs thought it would be dross but turned out to be a pretty good film.

Think that was only released as "The Longest Yard" in the US...In UK this was released and replayed as "The Mean Machine" (with Burt Reynolds)....Fabulous film...especially the two passes into the nuts!!!

Saw about 35 mins of it with sound down ooooh sooo low,(coz I was on the phone), even with that partial viewing I just knew I wasn't going to be returning after the news. Pile of brown stuff.
