MY Girlfriend is living in America for 8 Months and needs to order some books off http://www.half.com with which you have to use an american ebay account.

The problem lies with creating the american ebay account, i can't find a way to register with a UK Credit Card, it only allows american addresses. She only has UK Barclaycards, and Visa Electron.

Anyone any ideas, can't find anything on ebay.com/half.com about this

Ive never had any problems buying from US ebay with a uk account? You can just log in as normal and use it....

Yes, i've used ebay.com but half.com will only accept american ebay accounts

I am registered on ebay.de and have used .co.uk and .com with no problems.

I've emailed half.com. just got a reply saying it will take up to 72 Hours.. She needs the books for uni next week really

I had a "live chat" with ebay.com, and they suggested registering on half.co.uk - there's no such site
